360 Surveys & inspections
End-to-end digital surveys that capture your asset in rich detail using 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry and drone-based inspections. We produce high-accuracy datasets for structural analysis, defect identification, spatial planning, progress monitoring and immersive visual records.
Contact Us360 Surveys and Inspections Explained
A 360 survey combines terrestrial laser scanning, photographic capture and aerial imaging to create a coordinated point cloud and imagery set that describes the building inside and out. The result is a reliable geometric baseline for drawings, models and measurement.
Where airspace and safety rules allow, drones extend coverage to roofs, façades and hard-to-reach areas, reducing working at height while increasing speed and detail. Outputs can feed BIM workflows and, where required, form the basis of a living digital twin for ongoing asset management

What Do 360 Surveys and Inspections Cover?
Typical scope includes laser-scanned point clouds, HDR 360 imagery, orthophotos and elevation sets, with agreed accuracy bands and deliverables aligned to RICS standards. We can structure outputs for CAD or BIM, tag condition and defects, and set up repeat capture for progress tracking. This creates a single source of truth that supports design, safety and maintenance decisions.

What is a Point Cloud and Why Does It Matter?
A point cloud is a dense collection of measured points that captures a snapshot of the asset at a moment in time. It enables accurate modelling, clash checks and measurement without repeated site visits. From there, teams can generate coordinated 2D drawings or 3D models and maintain a consistent digital record across the life of the building.

360 Digital Surveys or Traditional Visual Surveys?
Traditional visual surveys are useful but limited by access and line-of-sight. 360 digital methods deliver safer roof and façade coverage, richer measurement and faster repeatability for monitoring. They complement, and often replace, high-risk access methods while improving the evidence base for decisions.
